Terms of Use
Last updated 21 August 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms apply when you access or use PLUMBING HQ, including its AI-assisted review tools, Field Jobs, Site Reports, Knowledge Base, supplier tools, community areas and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Technical decision-support
PLUMBING HQ provides AI-assisted technical and commercial decision support for Australian plumbing work. It is not a substitute for a licensed plumber or gasfitter, engineer, certifier, statutory authority, site-specific risk assessment, manufacturer instruction or authoritative regulatory requirement. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
3. Evidence and compliance
Users must verify material conclusions against the actual job evidence and applicable authoritative sources. A PLUMBING HQ review does not itself certify compliance with legislation, the NCC / Plumbing Code of Australia, Australian Standards, WaterMark requirements, authority conditions, licence requirements, manufacturer instructions or a contract.
4. Your responsibilities
- use PLUMBING HQ lawfully and keep account credentials secure;
- only upload customer, worker, site, document or photo information you are authorised to use;
- check technical findings, pricing, job records, recipients and generated documents before relying on or issuing them;
- comply with applicable licences, laws, codes, standards, authority requirements and site procedures; and
- not present AI output as a statutory certificate, engineering sign-off or professional approval when it is not one.
5. Safety and regulated work
Plumbing work can involve gas, electrical equipment, scalding water, pressurised systems, sewage, excavation, confined spaces, asbestos-containing materials and work at height. Users are responsible for appropriate isolation, risk controls, licensing, permits, supervision and competent people.
6. Your content
You retain your rights in content you upload or create. You grant PLUMBING HQ and its service providers the limited permission needed to host, process, transform and transmit that content so the requested features can operate.
7. Field records and location
Field Jobs may record timestamps, phone location, notes, photos and charges supplied by the user. A location capture records the device's reported position and accuracy; it is not independent proof that a person performed particular work. Users must check field records before relying on or issuing them.
8. Email and stored records
Email delivery depends on third-party services and recipient configuration. Sending a PDF or report does not necessarily delete the underlying job, photo or generated file from PLUMBING HQ.
9. Subscription billing
If paid subscriptions are offered, the applicable price, billing cycle, trial terms, tax treatment and renewal conditions will be shown before checkout. Eligible new verified accounts can receive one 60-day Full Usage launch grant without a card. Paid checkout is not currently enabled, and any future charge will be shown before checkout. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Third-party services
PLUMBING HQ relies on third-party providers including Base44 and related infrastructure services. Their availability, security controls and terms may affect operation of the service.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may be maintained, changed, replaced or discontinued as the product develops.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PLUMBING HQ is not responsible for loss caused by unverified AI output, incorrect user-entered data, third-party failures or decisions made without the required technical, statutory and professional checks. Rights and liabilities that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
